CHAP. 592.— An Act granting a pension to Mrs Martha A. Brooks.March 3, 1891. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Martha A. Brooks.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and hereby is, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Mrs. Martha A. Brooks, of Walton County, Georgia. whose husband Josiah M. Brooks, was a private soldier in Captain John Mann’s company in the Creek Indian war of eighteen hundred and thirty-six to eighteen hundred and thirty-eight and allow her a pension at twelve dollars per month.
