CHAP. 590.— An Act granting an increase of pension to Merritt Lewis.June 24, 1890. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Merritt Lewis.Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Merritt Lewis, late a private in Company K. Seventh Michigan Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixty dollars a month, in lieu of the sum he is now receiving. Approved, June 24, 1890.
