CHAP. 586.— An Act granting a pension to Joseph Whitmore for service in the Indian war.June 24, 1890. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Joseph Whitmore.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby is, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll the name of Joseph Whitmore, of Wentworth, Grafton County, New Hampshire, late a private in Captain Kerr's company, Colonel Smith’s Regiment Louisiana Volunteers, Indian war eighteen hundred and thirty-six. and pay him the same pension as is allowed by law for service in the war of eighteen hundred and twelve. Approved, June 24, 1890.
