CHAP. 539.— An Act to grant a pension to Elizabeth T. Garrett.June 21, 1890. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Elizabeth T. Garrett.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll the name of Elizabeth T. Garrett, widow of Joseph F. Garrett, who was a soldier in Spy Battalion in the Fourth Illinois Regiment, in the Black Hawk War, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month. Approved, June 21, 1890.
