CHAP. 417.— An Act granting a pension to Elvira Brooks, widow of Odney D. Brooks late assistant surgeon Twenty-sixth Michigan Volunteers.February 28, 1891. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Elvira Brooks.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be. and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Elvira Brooks, widow of Odney D. Brooks, late assistant Surgeon Twenty-sixth Michigan Volunteers, war of the rebellion. Approved, February 28, 1891.
