CHAP. 383.— An Act granting a pension to Catharine Simmonds.May 28, 1890. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Catharine Simmonds.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Catharine Simmonds, widow of William E. Simmonds, late first sergeant of Battery L, First Regiment United States Artillery, enlisted under the name of William E. Scott. Approved, May 28, 1890.
