CHAP. 345.— An Act to grant a pension to John Green Reed.May 24, 1890. *Be it enacted by the. Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,John Green Reed.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of John Green Reed, who served as a soldier in the war known as the Black Hawk war from the sixteenth day of June, eighteen hundred and thirty-two, to the fourth day of August, eighteen hundred and thirty-two, in Captain John Bay’s company, First Regiment, First Brigade, and to pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month.
