CHAP. 288.— An Act to amend section four of “An act to authorize the county of Laurens, in the State of Georgia to construct a bridge across the Oconee River at or near Dublin, in said county and State,” approved June eighteenth, eighteen hundred and eighty-eight.May 23, 1890. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Laurens County, Ga., to bridge Oconee River at Dubiin, Ga.; amendatory of act authorizing.Vol. 25, p. 189.
That section four of “An act to authorize the county of Laurens, in the State of Georgia, to construct a bridge across the Oconee River at or near Dublin, in said county and State,” approved June eighteenth, eighteen hundred and eight y-eight, which reads as follows: “That if the construction of the bridge hereby authorized shall not be commenced within two years from the time this act takes effect, and be completed within four years after its commencement, then this act shall be void.” be, and the same is hereby, so amended as to read as follows:
That if the construction of the bridge hereby authorized shall not be commencedCommencement and completion extended. within three years from the first day of January, eighteen hundred and ninety-one, and be completed within four years after its commencement, then this act shall be void. Approved, May 23, 1890.
