CHAP. 257.— An Act granting a pension to Mary C. Upton.May 21, 1890. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Mary C. Upton.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place upon the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Mary C. Upton, an Army nurse, late of the Seventh Regiment of Illinois' Cavalry Volunteers, at the rate of twelve dollars per month. Approved, May 21, 1890.
