CHAP. 1188.— An Act to remit the penalties on gun-boat number two, known as the Petrel.September 30, 1890. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Columbian Ironworks and Dry-Deck Company.Time penalties on gumboat No. 2 (Petrel) remitted. That the Secretary of the Navy is hereby authorized and required to remit to the Columbian Iron-Works and Dry-Dock Company, of Baltimore City, the time penalties exacted by the Navy Department under the contract with said company, for the construction of gun-boat number two, known as the Petrel, the United States having suffered no damage by the delay in the construction, and the said gun-boat having been accepted by the Department as satisfactory in every respect.
