CHAP. 1160.— An Act granting a pension to Miss Francis Thatcher.September 30, 1890. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Francis Thatcher.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and lie hereby is, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Miss Francis Thatcher, the daughter of Abijah Thatcher, who served as a soldier in First Company, Twentieth Connecticut State Militia, in the war of eighteen hundred and twelve, and the granddaughter of Union John Thatcher, who served as a soldier in the war of the Revolution, and to pay her a pension at the rate of eighteen dollars per month.
