CHAP. 1158.— An Act granting a pension to Reverend Thomas James.September 30, 1890. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled*,Thomas James.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place upon the pension-roll of the United States, Reverend Thomas James, of Rochester, New York, late a member of the Military Police attached to the Commissary Department and Freedman’s Bureau in the Department of Kentucky, and pay him at the rate of twelve dollars per month. Approved, September 30, 1890.
