CHAP. 1070.— An Act granting a pension to Matilda Evans..September 29, 1890. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United. States of America in Congress assembled*,Matilda Evans.Pension, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Matilda Evans, the surviving foster parent of George Stokes, deceased, late of Company C. Sixty-third Regiment, and afterwards of the One hundred and fifth Regiment of Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. Approved, September 29, 1890.
