CHAP. 1015.— An Act to remove the charge of desertion from the military record of William S. Bennett.September 27, 1890. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,William S. Bennett.Charge of desertion removed. That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to cause the records to be so amended as to remove the charge of desertion from the military record of William S. Bennett, late a member of Honorable discharge C. First Nebraska Cavalry Volunteers, and that an honorable discharge be granted to said Bennett as of date January ninth, eighteen hundred and sixty-five. Approved, September 27, 1890.
