CHAP. 971.— An Act granting a pension to Rachel Morgan.September 6, 1888. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Rachel Morgan.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place upon the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Rachel Morgan, mother of Louis Dixon, who is shown by the report of the War Department to have died of wounds received while serving with the Fifth Regiment United States Colored Heavy Artillery. Approved, September 6, 1888.
