CHAP. 959.— An Act granting a pension to William H. Dowdall.September 6, 1888. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Slates of America in Congress assembled*,William H. Dowdall.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place upon the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of William H. Dowdall, late of Company I, One hundred and forty-fourth Regiment of Illinois Volunteers. Approved, September 6, 1888.
