CHAP. 797.— An Act for the relief of James O’Brien.August 8, 1888. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,James O’Brien.Payment to. That the Secretary of the Treasury be. and is hereby, authorized and directed, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated to pay to James O’Brien, late a deputy collector of the first Tennessee district, the sum of two hundred and ten dollars and ten cents, the amount paid by him under the direction of the collector in suppressing illicit distilleries in said district, as is fully shown by the records in the Internal Revenue Office. Approved, August 8, 1888.
