CHAP. 71.— An Act for the relief of Charles Murphy.April 9, 1888. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Charles Murphy.Payment to. That the Secretary of the Treasury is hereby authorized and directed to adjust and settle, on the principles of equity, the claims of Charles Murphy, arising under his contract with the United States for the supply of material for the erection of the United States appraiser’s stores at San Francisco, California: and the money necessary to pay the amount found due him is hereby appropriated, not exceeding the sum of three thousand dollars. Approved, April 9, 1888.
