CHAP. 60.— An act granting a pension to John W. Ellis.January 16, 1889. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,John W. Ellis. Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of John W. Ellis, of Sierra County, New Mexico late an Indian scout, in the service of the United States Government in the Territory of New Mexico. Approved, January 16, 1889.
