CHAP. 60.— An Act to confirm New Madrid location survey, numbered two thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine, and to provide for issue of patent therefor.April 4, 1888. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Public lands.Location survey, New Madrid office, Mo., confirmed.Vol. 3. p. 211. That the action of the recorder of land titles of Missouri, in the case of Bernard and Anthony Laffond, under the act of Congress approved the seventeenth day of February, eighteen hundred and fifteen, in pursuance of which survey numbered two thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine was made, and patent certificate issued by the recorder of land titles, numbered three hundred and sixty-seven, as the same are now on file in the General Land Office of the United States, be. and the same is hereby, confirmed; and patent shall issue therefor, as in other cases. according to said survey, any question of the regularityPatent to issue. of the proceedings, in view of the absence of the relinquishment of one of the original owners, to the contrary notwithstanding.
