CHAP. 563.— An Act granting an increase of pension to Elias Shafer.July 5, 1888. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Elias Shafer.Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of law, the name of Elias Shafer, late of Company K, Twenty-third Michigan Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of forty-five dollars per mouth, in lieu of the sum he now receives. Approved, July 5, 1888.
