CHAP. 515.— An act granting a pension to Lucinda Mewman.March 2, 1889. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Lucinda Mewman. Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be. and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Lucinda Mewman, of Payson, Illinois, sister of John W. Mewman, late private in Company K, Seventy-eighth Regiment Illinois Volunteers, and pay her a pension at the rate of eighteen dollars a mouth. Approved, March 2, 1889.
