CHAP. 501.— An act to grant a pension to Ira Wells.March 2, 1889. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Ira Wells. Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and hereby is, authorized and directed to place upon the pension-roll the name of Ira Wells, who was a private in Captain Kinney’s company of Illinois Mounted Volunteers in the Black Hawk war, and pay him a pension of thirty dollars per month. Approved, March 2, 1889.
