CHAP. 490.— An Act granting an increase of pension to James Jackson Purman.June 25, 1888. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,James Jackson Fur-man.Pension increased. That James Jackson Purman, late first lieutenant in the One hundred and fortieth Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, be, and he is hereby, granted and allowed, from and after the passage of this act, a pension at the rate of forty-five dollars per month; and the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place the name of said James Jackson Purman on the pension-roll at said rate, in lieu of the pension now paid him.
