CHAP. 468.— An act to grant a pension to William Hawkins.March 2, 1889. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,William Hawkins. Pension. That the Secretary be, and hereby is, authorized and directed to place upon the pension-roll the name of William Hawkins, who was a private in Captain Alexander M. Houston’s company of Illinois Mounted Volunteers in the Black Hawk war, and pay him a pension of twenty dollars per month. Approved, March 2, 1889.
