CHAP. 458.— An act granting an increase of pension to General S. W. Price.March 2, 1889. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,S. W. Price. Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized to increase the pension of General S. W. Price, late of the Twenty-first Regiment Kentucky Volunteer Infantry, from seventy-two dollars per month to one hundred, dollars per month, the said S.
W. Price having become totally blind, the loss of his eyesight being the direct result of a gunshot wound received by him while in the service of the Government in the United States army, at the battle of Kenesaw, during the late war of the rebellion, to take effect from and after the passage of this act. Approved, March 2, 1889.
