CHAP. 42.— An Act to provide for payment of the funeral expenses of the late Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.March 26, 1888. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Morrison R. Waite.Appropriation for funeral expenses of. That the sum of five thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be. And the same is hereby, appropriated out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to defray the expenses necessarily incurred in the funeral of Morrison R.
Waite, late Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, to be disbursed by the marshal of the Supreme Court upon vouchers to be approved by the senior Associate Justice of said court. Approved, March 26, 1888.
