CHAP. 40.— An Act to amend chapter one hundred and ninety-one of the private acts of the Forty-ninth Congress, passed at the second session thereof, concerning James H. Young.March 23, 1888. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,James H. Young.Pension. That chapter one hundred and ninety-one of the private acts of the Forty-ninth Congress of the United States is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
" “That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorizedRank corrected.Vol. 24, p. 910. and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of James H. Young, formerly captain of Company L. Fifth Regiment Kansas Cavalry Volunteers.” " Sec. 2. That the provisions of this act shall take effect from theDate of pension. date of said amended act. Approved, March 23, 1888.
