CHAP. 388.— An Act for the relief of Douglas Chapman.June 9, 1888. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Douglas Chapman.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Douglas Chapman, of Hot Springs County, Arkansas, and late a private in Captain Wheeler’s Company H, of the Third Regiment Infantry, United States Army, in the Seminole war of eighteen hundred and thirty-seven, and that he be rated and receive such pension as is provided by the laws of the United States for persons engaged in the military service of the United States in the war of eighteen hundred and twelve.
