CHAP. 368.— An Act for the relief of John Powers.June 6, 1888. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,John Powers.Honorable discharge to. That the Secretary of War be. and he is hereby, authorized and directed to remove from the record of John Powers, late a member of Elgin Battery, Illinois Light Artillery, any charge of desertion that may exist against him as a member of said Elgin Battery and issue to him an honorable discharge, as of date November nineteenth, eighteen hundred and sixty-two. Approved, June 6, 1888.
