CHAP. 348.— An act for the relief of H. L. Newman.March 1, 1889. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,H. L. Newman. Payment to. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, directed to pay, out of any money that may hereafter be appropriated for the use and benefit of the Arapaho and Kiowa Indians, to H. L. Newman the sum of three thousand four hundred and fifty dollars, which sum shall be in full satisfaction for claims against said Indians for property destroyed. Approved, March 1, 1889.
