CHAP. 288.— An act increasing the pension of Permelia Smith.February 26, 1889. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Slides of America in Congress assembled*,Permelia Smith. Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be. and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay Permelia Smith, widow of William M. Smith, a private in T. W. Armstrong’s company, Twenty-fourth Regiment United States Infantry, in the war of eighteen hundred and twelve, a pension of twenty-five dollars per month, in lieu of the pension of twelve dollars per month as now allowed her by law. Approved, February 26, 1889.
