CHAP. 253.— An act for the relief of William Pfaender.February 25, 1889. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Slides of America in Congress assembled*,William Pfaender. Payment to. That the sum of eight hundred and eighty-three dollars and fifty cents be, and the same is hereby, appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the reimbursement of William Pfaender, late lieutenant-colonel of the Second Regiment Minnesota Cavalry Volunteers, for the loss of property destroyed by the burning of Government buildings at Fort Ridgely, Minnesota, on the nineteenth day of January, eighteen hundred and sixty-five.
