CHAP. 244.— An act for the relief of J. Harry Adams.February 25, 1889. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,J. Harry Adams. Payment to. That the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States be. and he is hereby, authorized and directed, out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to pay to J. Harry Adams of Davidson County Tennessee, the sum of one hundred and eighty-eight dollars and ten cents, the said sum being the amount in full compensation for certain internal-revenue stamps bought and paid for by said J.
Harry Adams, to be affixed to certain packages of spirits, which packages were destroyed by lire in a Government bonded warehouse Before the stamps were affixed thereto. Approved, February 25, 1889.
