CHAP. 23.— An act granting a pension to Mary E. Johnston.January 8, 1889. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Mary E. Johnston. Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be. and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Mary E. Johnston, dependent daughter of E. Johnston, late of Company A, Sixty-fourth Regiment Ohio Veteran Volunteer Infantry, and pay to her legally constituted guardian a pension of eighteen dollars per month. Approved, January 8, 1889.
