CHAP. 223.— An act granting a pension to Thompson D. Hatfield.February 23, 1889. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Thompson D. Hatfield. Pension.That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll the name of Thompson D. Hatfield, at the rate of twenty-five dollars a month, this sum to be paid only to the legally appointed guardian of said Thompson D. Hatfield, an insane person, for the purpose of his support and maintenance. Approved, February 23, 1889.
