CHAP. 219.— An act granting an increase of pension to Mrs. Mary L. Jewell.February 23, 1889. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Mary L. Jewell. Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to increase the pension of Mrs. Mary L. Jewell, widow of Marcus Jewell, a soldier in the war of eighteen hundred and twelve, from twelve dollars per month to twenty-five dollars per month. Approved, February 23, 1889.
