CHAP. 214.— An act granting a pension to Esther Gould.February 23, 1889. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Esther Gould. Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Esther Gould, late volunteer nurse during the war of the rebellion, and pay her a pension of twenty-five dollars per month from this date. Approved, February 23, 1889.
