CHAP. 188.— An act granting a pension to Jennie Harris.February 22, 1889. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Jennie Harris. Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to place upon the pension-roll of the United States the name of Jennie Harris, daughter of John B. Harris, late private of Company D, Eightieth Regiment Illinois Volunteer Infantry, war of eighteen hundred and sixty-one, now deceased, and to pay to her a pension at the rate of eighteen dollars per month from and after the passage of this act. Approved, February 22, 1889.
