CHAP. 1225.— An Act for the relief of G. W. McAdams.October 19, 1888. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,George W. McAdams.Payment to. That the Postmaster-General of the United States is hereby authorized to release and relieve George W. McAdams, postmaster at Mount Pleasant Iowa, and his sureties, of all responsibility and liability to the Government for funds and property of the Government stolen from said post-office on the night of July. eighteen hundred and eighty-five, by burglars: *Provided,* that he shall, upon examination, find that such loss was without negligence, fault, or blame on the part of said postmaster.
