CHAP. 114.— An act granting a pension to Ellen Smith.February 6, 1889. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Ellen Smith. Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be. and he hereby is, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Ellen Smith, widow of James Smith, late a private in Company C, Eighty-eighth Regiment of New York Volunteers. Received by the President January 25, 1889.
