CHAP. 856.— An act for the relief of Margaret S. Fain.August 3, 1886. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Margaret S. Fain.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Margaret S. Fain, widow of William C. Fain, who was killed while recruiting a regiment, about April sixth, eighteen hundred and sixty-four, at Pitman’s Ferry, Hope County, Tennessee, and pay her the pension allowed to the widow of a captain.
