CHAP. 663.— An Act granting a pension to Sylvester Root.July 6, 1886. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Sylvester Root.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the FORTY-NINTH CONGRESS. Sess. I. Chs. 663–668. 1886. 835 pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Sylvester Root, late of Company E, Twenty-seventh Regiment Massachusetts Volunteers. Approved, July 6, 1886.
