CHAP. 628.— An Act to remove the charge of desertion from the record of Franklin Thompson, alias S. E. E. Seelye.July 3, 1886. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Franklin Thompson, alias S. E. E. Seelye.Charge of desertion removed. That the charge of desertion borne against the name of Franklin Thompson, alias S. E. E. Seelye, late a private in Company F, Second Michigan Infantry, be, and the same is hereby, removed.
Sec. 2. That the proper accounting officers of the Government are hereby directed to liquidate and settle the amount of back pay, bounty, and allowances due to said Franklin Thompson, alias S. E. E. Seelye, Payment to, of back pay, bounty, and allowances.at the date of his
(her)alleged desertion; and thereupon the proper disbursing officers are authorized and directed to pay to said Franklin Thompson, alias S. E. E. Seelye, the amount of back pay, bounty, and allowances so ascertained to be due, the same as if no charge of desertion had ever existed against the said Franklin Thompson, alias S. E. E. Seelye.
