CHAP. 622.— An Act granting the right. of way to the Leavenworth, Northern and Southern Railway Company through the military reservation at Fort Leavenworth.July 3, 1886. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Right of way through Fort Leavenworth reservation to Leavenworth, Northern and Southern Rail way Company. That the right of way not exceeding one hundred feet in width is hereby granted to the Leavenworth, Northern and Southern Railway Company, a corporation created under the laws of the State of Kansas, to construct and operate a railroad across and over the military reservation at Fort Leavenworth, in 123 FORTY-NINTH CONGRESS.
Sess. I. Chs. 622, 623, 636, 637. 1886. the State of Kansas, upon such line as shall be designated and fixed by the Secretary of War: *Provided*, That if any part of the line to be so*Provisos.*Compensation for use of line of other company. designated and fixed shall be upon any portion of any right of way heretofore fixed by the Secretary of War for any other railroad company, all differences between such companies as to the occupying of such line, and as to any compensation to be paid therefor, shall be determined by the Secretary of War: *And provided further*, That no further interferenceNot to interfere with other lines. with any railway line now in operation on said reservation shall be made than the public interest shall require.
