CHAP. 619.— An Act extending the provisions and benefits of the pre-emption law to John E. WhiteJuly 2, 1886. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,John E. White.Permitted to preempt and purchase public land in Wilson County, Kansas. That the provisions and benefits of the pre emption law be extended and granted to John E. White, of Wilson County, Kansas, so as to permit him to pre-empt and purchase at the proper land-office, and upon the conditions applicable to other lands in the same community, the north half of the northeast quarter and the southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of section numbered twenty, township numbered twenty-seven south, of range numbered sixteen east of the sixth principal meridian, in the State of Kansas, notwithstanding his previous filing on a different tract of land.
