CHAP. 59.— An Act granting an increase of pension to Elvira Bliss Sheldon.Jan. 27, 1887. *Be it enacted by the Senate and Souse of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,ElviraBliss Sheldon.Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Elvira Bliss Sheldon, an ex-Army nurse and widow of Joel S. Sheldon, late a commissary and lieutenant of volunteers, and pay her a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month, in lieu of the pension now received by her. Approved, January 27, 1887.
