CHAP. 587.— An Act for the relief of the officers and crew of the light-house tender Lilly and the inspector of the fourteenth United States light-house district.June 30, 1886. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Lighthouse tender Lilly.Appropriation to reimburse officers and crew, and inspector, for losses occasioned by burning of the vessel. That the sum of five thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be, and the same is hereby, appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be applied by the United States lighthouse Board to reimburse the officers and crew of the United States lighthouse tender Lilly and the inspector of the fourteenth lighthouse district for losses of necessary personal apparel, and of other articles necessary and proper for their use on board said vessel, sustained by them by the burning of said vessel, on the twentieth day of September, eighteen hundred and Provisos.Proof of loss.eighty-four, at Cincinnati, Ohio: *Provided*, That each person claiming remuneration under this act shall furnish to the lighthouse Board a statement, duly verified, of the character and value of the property by him lost, supported by proof satisfactory to said board; also what amount of insurance, if any, received thereon, which amount shall be deducted from the value of said property on settlement by the accounting officers of the Award of lighthouse Board to be final.lighthouse Board: *Provided also*, That the award of the lighthouse Board for such losses shall be final, and the pay- FORTY-NINTH CONGRESS.
