CHAP. 489.— An Act granting a pension to Martha Downs.June 24, 1886. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Martha Downs.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Martha Downs, of Peoria, Illinois, widow of Albert Downs, late a private in Company H, Fourteenth Regiment of Illinois Volunteers. Approved, June 24, 1886.
