CHAP. 342.— An act authorizing the removal of the stat no of Major-General John A. Rawlins from its present location to a site to be selected by the Secretary of War.May 17, 1886. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Statue of Major-General John A. Rawlins to be removed to another site. Appropriation. That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to have the statue of Major-General John A.
Rawlins removed from the present location to another site within the limits of the city of Washington, District of Columbia, to be selected by the Secretary of War; and an amount not exceeding five hundred dollars is hereby appropriated for that purpose out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated. Approved, May 17, 1886.
